- Races — Youth racers who are not USSA licensed competitors will have the opportunity to compete in recreational NASTAR races on weekends at Bogus Basin, usually beginning in early January. Sun Valley Ski Club (SVSC) races usually begin in December. The New Diamond Sun Super G is open to any capable racer (any age) with a helmet!ย The Bogus Basin Cup is a recreational race for all ages. There may be additional special races at Sun Valley and Bogus Basin. There are also both recreational and USSA licensed races for all ages at Brundage Mountain in McCall as part of the First Security Winter Games. I will post the dates as soon as I have them. This is the fun event of the year, with Olympic-style medals and race parties.
